This topic will show how Jesus sympathizes with our sinful nature and empowers us to overcome it. It will show the students that He always gives us a way to avoid sin (if we’ll honestly look for it) but is also there to forgive us when we fail and truly repent. We will also show that a sanctified believer does not sin (as a lifestyle) when he fervently seeks to obey the Lord. Mention the difference between conviction and condemnation(conviction prevents sin, condemnation comes from Satan to oppress you). Includes a discussion regarding the lusts of this world.

This lesson will help new converts realize why they need to study the word of God. It will highlight the importance of applying scriptural knowledge in our daily lives to avoid moving “against the current” of God’s will and show how it develops our character so that we become more like Him in nature. It also will show how it protects us from making mistakes or sinning, prevents us from rashly reacting to situation’s as unbelievers do, keeps us from being deceived by false teachers or doctrines, etc

This lesson details exactly what happened when you accepted Jesus as Savior -- how your spiritual “man” died and you were reborn, the significance of his blood sacrifice and why it was necessary, etc. We should also explain how salvation is more than a one-time prayer of confession; God’s salvation also means spiritual, emotional and physical healing, deliverance from problems, forgiveness, etc. Salvation is a daily way of life that keeps happening everyday; it makes you wake up and lie down each day.

Examine the need for prayer and the results it can bring. Also look at the types of prayer, positions of prayer, attitude behind prayer and hindrances to prayer. Give examples of prayer warriors in the Bible (Elijah, Anna, etc.) and give personal testimony of your answered prayers.
file icon Obediencehot!Tooltip 07/15/2008 Hits: 631
We will discuss what God expects from us as His children; how we should obey His word and some of the consequences of being rebellious. However, we will also see that His chastisement of us is for our own good and He never gives us what we truly deserve. Lastly, we’ll see examples of obedience and disobedience in the Bible and the results. Explain how fellowship with other believers and the church is mandatory.

Rescue Life

Matthew 18:3-6 KJV And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. (4) Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (5) And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. (6) But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Mission: RescueLIFE is the newest area of emphasis for LIFE Outreach International with a goal to reach, rescue and restore children who are targeted by human traffickers and the global sex trade industry.

Mission: RescueLIFE began in Thailand in 2008 with the "House of Destiny," and now expands to India, Romania and Cambodia, with the goal of reaching an initial 2,000 children impacted by the horrors of human trafficking. In 2010, we hope to establish a LIFE Center in Thailand dedicated to helping women and children find new hope in a new life.
