The conclusion of this series addresses the following subtopics:
The Lord’s power extends well beyond His people
And the Lord did so (kept His promises)
God is the Strength of His people
The enemy will dread messing with you after God deals with him
Choose (enter and remain in) your land of Goshen
God will make you stronger than your enemies
Part 2 of this series addresses the following subtopics:
Unlike the enemy who schemes and performs sneak attacks, the Lord will “look the enemy in the eye” and announce how He’s going to decimate him before doing so
The world might be in darkness, but God provides us light
The world might be plagued, yet God will preserve us
We should all have personal and unique “songs and catalogs” glorifying God and what He has done for us
God will bring forth our deliverance no matter how much darkness and death surrounds us
Tell people to “take me out of your all” when they speak of impending doom and gloom
This series is based upon Exodus 8:20-24, which reveals how in the midst of plagues God set a clear line of delineation in which plagues would devastate the nation of Egypt while God’s people in Goshen were divinely protected. We parallel this divine protection with how God can do the same during our current times of both a pandemic, social unrest, an upcoming election, economic uncertainties, etc.
Part 1 of this series addresses the following:
Background on Goshen and it’s nature
Remaining in Goshen requires obedience despite any surrounding ungodly systems and chaos
God has established divine distinctions and boundaries in which His people may remain protected
We must ensure that we don’t permit anything to distract or lure us out of God’s protection
